Project Description
This project involved a housing rehabilitation including 327 units of senior housing and low-income family housing. These four highrise buildings, originally designed by Bertrand Goldberg, were placed on the national register of historic buildings in 1997. Phase I of this project included the complete gut rehabilitation of the four high rises and extensive landscaping to the 14-acre site, all done to the standards of the National Historic Trust. Originally designed for public housing, it will contain affordable rental apartments for both seniors and families when completed.
